Founded by two horse girls who knew LA’s horse scene needed a softer, more welcoming touch, Lil Barn is grassroots, real, and full of heart. Whether you’re brushing a horse or heading out for a lesson, this place is about building confidence and connection—at your pace.

Our Horses
At Lil Barn, our horses are the heart of everything we do. Every one of our horses was rescued, adopted, or given a second chance after being overlooked, unwanted, or no longer having a place to call home. We believe every horse deserves love, purpose, and the opportunity to thrive.
Our horses receive individualized care, quality healthcare, plenty of affection, and the attention they deserve. In return, they share their patience, kindness, and wisdom with our riders. We truly believe they are some of the most incredible lesson horses in the world.
Just as importantly, we believe horses should be allowed to be horses. That's why we prioritize turnout, herd time, play, and plenty of opportunities for our horses to socialize, explore, and enjoy life together. You'll often find them grazing side by side, romping through the turnouts, or simply enjoying the company of their friends. Happy horses make great teachers, and we're proud to give our horses the lives they deserve while sharing their magic with our community.
